My Son Ashton is the most inquisitive child ever. I have to be on my toes. He ask questions about everything.... His teacher last year absolutely loved him because he was the only two yr old that talked and he kept them going!! This year he is one of only two boys in class and 6 girls!! The other boy is a bit shy and depends on Ashton's charisma. Here are a few examples of his curiosity:
1. Parking in a parking garage he wanted to know:
Why is is called a parking garage?
What is is made of?
How do they do it?
Why do they build them.
2. Elevator to the restaurant:
What is this button for?? Setting off the alarm!
3. Walking to the car ....
" What is this button for"....setting off the emergency alarm in the parking garage! ( I had to wait for the security to call to tell them it was a curious 3yr old.)
Forward to the next morning...
We went to see the Santa Express at our Union Station. 1. He tried to set off the escalator emergency STOP button! I was quick on that one!!
2. Admiring the Gingerbread village....
"Daddy is the candy real or pretend???" Real. So we can eat it.
There is more... but I would be here all day. He basically ask question about every thing, every person. He wants to know how everything works and why.
He remembers everything too! If you tell him why and how. He will remember and when he sees it again he will tell me all about it and say "Right, Mommy?" "Right, Ashton, you are smart!"
He will definitely make a big impact on the world one day!
