Living on a Prayer!

I literally feel like we have been living an a prayer this past week.
AS I said before, It started last Sat with Nathan, then Sydney and Lonnie. Ashton on Tuesday then Rae on Wednesday. Raegan bounced back quick, probably b/c she already had the flu in Jan. Sydney missed the entire week of school. As did Ashton. Lonnie is finally feeling better, but down to 178! He weighed more in HS!

Thank goodness I didn't get the flu until Friday night. I don't know how anyone would have survived! There is no way I could have waited on everyone!
God does work in weird mysterious ways! HE kept me healthy until the weekend!!

The girls are back to health and are aggravating all of us!!
The boys are still feeling icky. Poor Nathan has had a fever since last Saturday. It finally broke last night. If not we would be taking a trip to the DR. in the morning.

Now all about me: I fevered all night Fri night. I felt okay on Saturday, but then woke up this morning feeling like I did on Friday night. Like I had been hit by a truck. Every inch of my body hurt. I could not move. I didn't want to eat b/c I thought I might throw up! I finally did eat some soup that my hubby brought me from Panera. I took a double dose of Advil took a two hour nap and woke up a brand new person!! YEA!!! Hoping it sticks and I can get back to in the groove of things Monday!!

Never in my time of being a mom and having a family has this ever happened. All six of us getting sick. These are the times I wish we did live close to "home" to have our Moms take care of us!!

Hoping that I don't get this evil flu that every single person in my family has had!! Yes, I have had to care for all of them!! 4 at the same time.

Rae had it in the middle of January and it took forever to shake it. Then it started with Nathan on Sat night, then by Sunday night it was Sydney. In the midst of caring for those two I had to keep Ashton happy and entertained. He helped me cook!

I kept Ashton home from school today b/c I didn't want to get the other two out. By 12:45 he then started complaining that he was cold. He laid down on the couch and I took his temp...sure enough...a fever! Good thing I didn't send him to school at 12:00 or they would have been calling me!

Pray for me to obtain my health!

Because we all know what happens when the motherboard goes down!!

MY RESULTS

Girls here it is..... I think on this one I choose to show me 15 lbs lighter. That is when I thought I weighed_____! But then I went to the gym and used their professional digital scale and I was way off!!

My Daughter's worst enemy.....

So she says... Raegan left her journal on the table. Lonnie and I were drinking our coffee and I started browsing her journal. It's not like it is private or anything. She puts her Fashion ideas, poems, random drawings, etc.... There were some really cute things in there, she had me laughing. Then I found this!!! This is a picture of a girl in her class that is mean as hell to her. Raegan is a good little girl and is always kind to people. This other girl has done nothing but cause trouble for Raegan alllll year! Like the other day she told me that this girl grabbed the front of her shirt and twisted it to prevent RAE from grabbing a ball. They are in freakin' 2nd grade. I have already been to the school to talk to the teacher and principal about this girl!! Being Rae's mom I know that Rae is not doing things to "deserve" this!!

If you are wondering about the hair.....this girl is AfricanAmerican, so that explains the hair do.

I think it is sad and funny at the same time. Sad that Raegan even has to go through this torture, but funny that she journal it. Maybe she should journal it in her school journal. Then maybe the teacher will think she is going to go "postal" and do something about the MEAN GIRLS!!!!

I don't know if I have told ya'll, but Garth Brooks and Trisha live in the town next to my SIL. So just in case you didn't believe me...... heres the proof!

His oldest daughter is in soccer and plays against Lonnies niece.

My letter to weightview

I orginally sent in my photo to Weight View.com on Jan 27th. They said it would take only 48 hours to recieve my results. Am am sure some of you are wondering "where is your". I emailed them and this is what they said :

Go see this movie!! Me and a group of friends watched it last night. It is a serious movie, but you will be laughing. The "jargon" they use in the movie catches you off guard, but once you get it ...you will be laughing.
Before you go in, make sure you get one of those 'blue raspberry' icee from the conscession!!

Chickens

The other day I posted our double yolk egg. I don't know why I didn't add this conversation that occured between Rae and I: It is hilarious!

Raegan: Whaoo that is cool! Does that mean the chicken was going to be a twin?

ME: Well, I guess.

Raegan: Well, I think that is really weird, cuz I think all chickens look alike!

ME: Yeah, that is weird!

Grumpy Award!!

Well, I would give this a "Tad" Award, but I thought this was more along the lines of a grumpy or rude award...
Last week was Ashton's 4th birthday. I thought it would be fun to go get a whole bunch of milar balloons. Me, Ashton, Sydney and Naty boy all go to the dollar store to get the balloons. You can get them CHEAP!! I pick out like 8 balloons. One lady was helping me and then sort of gave up. At the same counter was this 60 or 70 yr old lady. And she is not a happy camper. She says to me so mean "what else do you need?" I said, okay. One more of bla bla. So at the time I think I have all of the balloons that I needed. I say to her " okay I have this many at $1 and this many at $3" She says back to me " I have to get all the numbers from them....blaa blaa blaa!! She was totallly mean!!
So I say back to her " Well ,I didn't know that so you don't have to be so MEAN!!" This caught her off guard. I mean she totally didn't expect me to say that!!
Then the manager says to me "Do you NOT want to wait" I said "I'm okay waiting, as long as she isn't mean!
He too was dumpfounded and walked away (freakin idiot)
So when she finally got me checked out I went and found him. Just imagine me with freakin' 8 milar balloons and three kids at my heels!!
I let him know exactly what had happened and that there was absolutly no reason for her to be just plain MEAN!! He said he would take care of it. Yeah, right!

She should stay at home and collect the SS that I pay for!! In my opinion my tax dollars are going to waste. My taxes should keep the rude and mean idiots like her at home!! They totally don't need to be working with the public!!

Lucky day...??

Well for my kids at least!! Eventhough I think having them all home from school b/c of a Snow day, might put me in the nut house tomorrow!! Usually, I LOVE having my kids home when school is cancelled. Latley, they all have missed days from school b/c of illness. I am just totally maxxed out. So I am trying to make the best of it and not loose my grip too often!!
While making breakfast for them, we cracked open a double yolk. Isn't it a old wives tale that it is Good luck??? So I told the kids that it "was" their lucky day!

I dried Maniac #3's hair with a hair dryer!! He totally has Mr. Maniacs Hair....Thick and curly/wavy. He thought this was soooo funny. I did too & thought I would share.

BTW: I can't get my spell chck to work on blogger...HELP!!

The case of the missing lunch.....

Sometimes I make Raegan's lunch and take it to her when I pick up Sydney. On Friday this is what I was doing. I began to make her lunch, had the juice box, yogurt, sandwich already in there. I zipped it up and put in on the door knob of the pantry. Then I remembered that I needed to add a fruit or raw veggies!! I get it ready......I can't find the lunch box.....anywhere. I thought I was going crazy. During this whole ordeal, I was on the phone with my friend. So I was a little distracted. Then I realize that Nathan was missing, you know that quiet "sound". When that is occurring you know something is up. I say "Nathan, where are you?" I hear nothing. My suspicion was that he was somewhere eating Raegan's lunch!!! I give up for a few minutes, continue to chit chat with my friend. He appears in the kitchen. I ask him. Nathan "Where is Raegan's lunch?" He says "woom" (which means room). I go up to Raegan's room and he has her lunch laid all out on her bed. He had attempted to eat the sandwich through the plastic and squirted out all of the juice all over her room. He wasn't able to open the yogurt and granola!! Thank goodness!

I added her fruit and took it up to her.

When I picked her up from school I asked her if she got her lunch, and she said " yeah but someone tried to eat my sandwich!!!" She probably thought it was the Secretary!! LOL

No, really she thought it was Nathan. Just shows you how used to the mania she is!!
